MSc Ian Saturday
In 2005 I obtained my Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Utrecht. I specialized in Cognitive and Applied Psychology by completing studies in areas such as: ‘Perspectives on Psychopathology’, ‘Brain and Perception’, ‘Memory and Language’, ‘Psychonomics’, ‘Cognitive Neuroscience’, ‘Philosophy of Science’, and more. I did my internship and wrote my thesis at TNO Human Factors in Soesterberg.
After that I worked for 14 years as an advisor in, among others, the Academic Hospital UMC Utrecht, for Atos Consulting, and on assignment for various organisations, including various Social Services.
In 2019 I started my private practice. I have followed several additional training courses and masterclasses in the field of coaching, including: ‘Psychoanalytical Theories’, ‘Positive Psychology’, ‘General Medical Knowledge’, ‘Psychodiagnostics in Clinical Psychology’, and ‘Acceptance and Commitment Therapy’ (ACT).
I am a member of the Netherlands Institute for Psychologists (NIP).
I am also a member of the Dutch Association of Professional Coaches (NOBCO).
You can also find me on Coachfinder, an initiative of Psychology Magazine.
These memberships mean that my credentials have been verified on several occasions, that I work according to the ethical code for psychologists and coaches, and that I adhere to Dutch privacy laws (AVG), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
My rate is based on the average basic rate for psychologists as determined by the NZa (Dutch Healthcare Authority). That amounts to €88,- (excluding 21% VAT) per session of 60 minutes with a client.
That includes travel cost and rental of coach rooms.
